Adventure training

Picture

Adventure training plays a vital role in cadet activities. This is where you may have to work in a team or individually depending on the task. Communication is essential for team working. When this is carried out properly, air cadets abilities will improve and leadership skills can improve as well. It can be indoor or outdoor activities. At our Squadron, we are lucky to have an adventure training instructor. However this may not be the case at all Squadrons which means it may be best for them to go to camps in order to get adventure training as all adventure training activities are be supervised. There is a range of activities to chose from: kayaking (shown in the photo on the left), canoeing, mountain biking and much more.
