AIR CADETS
The Air Training Corps has existed for several years now and is the RAF's cadet force which is divided into six regions and more than 900 squadrons throughout the UK. The four main aims of the Air Training Corps are:
Air Cadets can offer various different experiences and there is always an activity that you will be able to enjoy, whether its cross country, flying, shooting or drill, there is something for everyone. The members are aged from 12-20. However, there is also a large range of adult volunteers and civilian committee members.

- Promote and encourage amoung young men and women a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force
- Provide training which will be useful in both Services and in civil life
- Foster the spirit of adventure
- Develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship
